Cubana de Aviación was founded on 8th October 1929 and is the flag Cuban carrier today, securing connection from numerous destinations to Cuba and also providing domestic flights on the island.

Cubana de Aviación is operating out of major European hubs (London Gatwick, Madrid Barajas, Paris Orly and Rome Fiumicino) and from Canada (Toronto, Montreal) not only to Havana, the capitol of Cuba, but also to Holguin or Santiago de Cuba. Several destinations in the Caribbean and South America are also served on basis of regular connections.

Passengers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia can benefit from special tariffs based on possible flights out of Prague with CSA Czech Airlines being the first carrier to the European hubs of Cubana. There are also tariffs available for flights only out of Europe, and of course for any domestic flights in Cuba operated by Cubana and also flights to other destinations of Cubana (Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Brasil etc.).

Long haul flights are operated by modern wide-body airplanes ILYUSHIN IL-96-300. On shorter flights you can meet other planes from Cubana´s fleet: AIRBUS A320, TUPOLEV TU-204, YAKOVLEV YAK42 and ANTONOV 24.
